Mix together 2 Cups Chick pea flour (Besan) salt to tast 1 teaspoo Chili powder 2 pinch Hing (Optional), water,
3 pinch baking powdwr or two tablespoons Curd. Mix well make thick dropping consistenc of the mixture. |
On Griddle on fire smear little oil, Pour abour 3 table spoons of batter on hot griddle, spread into round shape as seen in fig 2, with the help of the back of big spoon (Chamcha) reduce fire to medium. Let it cook till you see changed colour. Remove sides see from side if it is brown from other side as shown in figure 2. Turn side cook from the other side till it looks like in Fig. 3. Turn side, place cooked spinach, Hung Curd Spread, Cucumber, tomato, may add little chutney (Optional) roll it and serve with Salad and hot green chutney.
You may cut into pieces as in Fig Final Alternative and serve with chutney as snack.

You may substitute Besan with 3 cups, Moong dal soaked in water for 3 hrs, grind with little water with 4-5 few cloves of garlic and green chillies, add salt to taste. make the batter than follow the same wat as for Besan Chila.
Its much more tastier. Basen one is fast cooking and this one takes longer planning and time. Enjoy this on, when you have time.
