Palak with Parantha (Spinach with Parantha)

Palak(Spinach) cooked with Hung Curd Spread & Parantha


You need:-
2 cups blanched palak (spinach)        
2 pinch Hing
1 teaspoon chili flakes or to taste
2 teaspoon crushed garlic
3-4 tablespoons Hung curd spread
1 tablespoon cooking oil (Olive oil)
1teaspoon cumin seeds (optional)
salt  (add salt only after tasting the final stage as there is salt in Spread & spinach has its own salt)
Making:-
In fry-pan, put oil, garlic (and cumin seed ), stir fry till brown. Add chili and Hing stir fry. Add the Spinach dry its water and then add the Hung Curd Spread on it. ( Recipe is on my blog. Titleed "Hung Curd Spread") Dry the water. Serve with Parantha and some greens. or lemon pickle. A glass of Spiced Chhas goes well with it. (Recipe for Chhas is with Hung Curd Spread.)

1). This ready palak mix may be used as filling in Omlet. 
2). Palak mix may be used, with added boiled meshed cooking apple. spring onion, and boiled potato broken into very small pieces, as filling for crusty palak-apple Pie. Its realy yummy.
3). It's good as filling for Moong Dal Chila (Moong lentil pancake may be the nearest translation.)
