Bread or Rolls basics


Bread Rolls or buns basics
Method : In a large glass bowl mix together with fingers or spoon, flour, sugar, salt, oil and the yeast. (item 1-5)  Now add item 6 from list above. Knead till the dough leaves sides of the bowl.  May add bit of flour or water if needed to make soft dough. (It takes about 10-12 minutes) Punch the dough a few times while kneeding, this will give good texture. Grease your hand and bowl with few drops of oil and set the dough in bowl for leavening
Cover the bowl with cotton cloth and keep in some corner for about 40 minutes. If kitchen is cold, the dough rising process may take bit long and vice versa.  You may see as shown in picture, that the dough is well risen.
Take dough out from bowl punch it a few times. Knead again for about 2-3 minutes. Keep the Bread / loaf tin ( 8"x4") or tin of your choice, on plateform and roll the dough into rectangular shape approximately to the size to the tin. Roll the dough into roll shape and pinch like stiching the corners with your fingers. 
Greese the tin, sprinkle bit of flour on it and place the dough in tin with seam side at bottom.
Brush the top of loaf with milk, sprinkle seeds on it and again lleave it for proving for about 35-40 minutes or till done.
















Pre-heat oven at 180 C,  keep the tin for baking in the pre-heated ovan. bake it for 40 minutes. Remove from ovan sprinkle a few drops of melted butter on it. Use knief to unmould the loaf. Transfer it on rack. cover with dry napkin leave it to cool.
